  • Covers coffee house outdid itself. Even in spite of the fact that it was in a totally sketch local this time. People People played for the first time, and considering the fact that we didn't have a sound check, I felt it went pretty well. Wish you were there. There were a bunch of great performances. Audrey built it, and a lot of people came. Packed to the fins with peeps from alls over. Then we went to IHOP. They have pancakes there. The "all you can eat" pancakes were cheaper than the regular pancake meal. WTF. Mitchel got that one and we were all so jealous. He got more food than us and he paid like 3 dollars less.

  • Oh, this past weekend I went up to Boston for the christmas party. I
went up last year and sang with the house band. Tommy Noda and Sarah
gronendyke asked me to come up again. This time I also wound up
playing guitar for Omata's project Tangerine Submarine. That was fun.
For the house band we wound up doing 'River Euphrates' by Pixies and
'the Love Cats' by the Cure. The food was awesome. ALL SASHIMI. When
we left the church it was 11:30, by the time we got to Omata's
family's house it was 5:45. For an hour and half we wound up leaving
boston in the wrong direction for an then when we realized it had to
turn around. I wound up taking over and driving for 4 and a half
hours. All this on three hours of sleep from the night before (Me and
Omata went to sleep at 2:30 am and woke up at 5:30 to drive to
Boston). Jason and Eamon got to sleep. I was doing fine with not
nodding off for a while until we stopped to fill up on gas. Thats when
I started to get comfortable. After about a half hour of driving,
Omata thought we should switch. Thats when I started falling asleep
while I was talking. It was like part of my brain kept shutting off. I
was aware that I sounded likea complete idiot but was not in control
of it. I was trying hard to stay wake but was falling unconscious
while my eyes were open, so basically it was like I was on drugs. I
was looking at a four lane highway and there were four cars in a line
and they turned into red eyed robotic football players. Then the lines
on the highway were ripping off the road and turned into packing
peanuts and then we drove into a cardboard box filled with them. The
box turned out to be a bridge we were driving under. I kept seeing
stuff and describing it while I was seeing it. This went on for the
next 30 minutes until we reached the house where we passed the hell
    out. That was fun.

  • I hate people who say things that they know will upset you but say anyway because they know you're too nice a person to say anything to them. Fucking asshole losers who are so insecure of their own value that they are in constant competition with their peers and only feel better about themselves when they make other people feel like shit. I'm tired of wasting my time trying to be friends with them. They don't deserve to have friends that care about them.

  • I'm in california with Chen and Gandalf Murphy. My brain is still trying to get used to the drastic change of scenery but I'm slowly accepting it as my reality. The watercolored skies are framed perfectly by car windows as we pass orange and green mountains, miles of rows of green farmland, rolling hills, beaches, birds, parallel palm trees and piles of fluffy mischeivous clouds. Wish you were here, but if I was around to shake your hand, you'd burst into flames.

Oh, and its my birthday on the sixth. Wish me stuff and whatever.
